Schools, youth organisations and students are encouraged to participate in the Talent Quest to perform at its Sounds of Light Charity Concert in February 2016 to thousands of attendees, for the benefit of orphans around the world.
This competition is a fantastic opportunity for young Australian Muslims to perform alongside well-known artists such as Maher Zain (Sweden), Adel El Mshiti (Libya), comedian Preacher Moss (USA), young star Harris J (UK) and win great prizes.

All Finalists in the audition rounds must be able to attend a rehearsal and perform live during the Sounds of Light 2017 in one of the cities listed below.

Selected finalists will receive prizes and the golden opportunity to perform alongside well-known artists like Maher Zain (Sweden), Mesut Kurtis (Macedonia) and young star Harris J (UK). Finalists and winners may also receive exposure through media opportunities, local councils, social media and newsletters.
The Talents Quest is open to primary and high school students and will include: Quran recitation, Nasheed, Spoken Word, Poetry, Value-Driven Songs, Filmmaking, Martial Arts, Stand-up Comedy, Drama, and Public Speaking.
Schools are encouraged to send through any performances, that students and teachers prepared during the year.
The best schools in each state will have the golden opportunity to open the Sounds of Light Concert with the National Anthem in their city.
Local Schools and youth organisations form an important part of Sounds of Light, taking to the stage to showcase their talents and the same time to support orphans around the globe.

Every year students are encouraged to participate in culturally appropriate alternatives like the Sounds of Light Concert and now they have a fantastic opportunity to represent their school or organisation in front of the thousands of people during the Sounds of Light 2016
